You can configure identifiers (mobile, email, or external ID) change request settings to notify POCs on new requests, auto-approve email change requests, and enable OTP validation to change email IDs.

To configure settings for identifier change requests:

  1. On Member Care navigate to Settings > ID Change Requests Settings
  2. Navigate to the respective identifier settings page (Email/Mobile/EmailID/External ID) that you want to set.
  3. Configure settings for each identifier type as mentioned in the following sections and click Save.

Settings for email change requests

To approve a customer's email change request, configure these options.

Alerting the Supervisor

Select the moderators or supervisors to notify when a new email change request is created.

  • Click Select Options to see the list of Capillary and Org POCs and select the users that you want to notify from the list. 
  • You can also use Filter to select user names.

Note: Click Check All to select all users in the list.

Auto Approve

Enable to automatically approve all the email ID change requests.

Communicate the changes to the customer

Notify customers through the old/new email ID when the identifier is changed.

  • Old ID: Select this to send a notification to the old email ID.
  • New ID: Select this to send a notification to the new email ID.

In Configure email, click Configure to set up the email content.

Require OTP validation for email change

Enable this option to allow OTP validation for customers to change their email IDs.

You can choose to send the OTP to both a new email ID and an old email ID.

  • Old Email: Select this to send OTP to the old email ID.
  • New Mail: Select this to send OTP to the new email ID.
  • Both: Select this to send OTP to both new and old email IDs.
