Opt-In Types

  1. The Subscription module allows organizations to select any of the following subscription options:

    • Single: When an organization enables this option, the customers are by default subscribed to marketing communication (both emails and SMS) after the customers register to the loyalty program through their email id and mobile number.
    • Confirmed:  This option is similar to Single. When organizations enable this option, the customers are by default subscribed to marketing communication (both emails and SMS). But with this setting, an optional confirmation message is sent to their email IDs and mobile numbers that they have been subscribed to the organization’s marketing communication.

    • Double: When organizations enable this option, the customers are not directly subscribed to the marketing communication. First an email or SMS is sent to the customers. The email contains a subscription link; the SMS contains a phone number to which they can send a confirmation SMS or give a missed call. When the customer clicks the link and confirms the subscription or sends an SMS, another email and SMS is sent as confirmation.
